Postal Center Plus' Frequently Asked Questions, or FAQs
Here is a list of our most frequently asked questions. Hopefully, the answer to your question is here. If not, give us a call at (619) 593-9993. We will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
1. I need to track my package. How do I do that?
First, you'll need your "Tracking Number". This is a number specific to your package given by the carrier you shipped through. On your Postal Center Plus receipt, you should see a number labelled "Tracking Number". Using the "Track My Package" button on our Main Menu, input that number and click "TRACK". You should then see where your package was last scanned at. If you are unable to see any information about the location of your package, or if you have any questions of concerns regarding the location of your package, give us a call at (619) 593-9993.
2. How much does it cost to ship to ___________?
In order for us to give you an accurate quote on shipping to your intended destination, we will need specific information regarding the following; the zipcode of where you want to ship to (or city and country, if shipping internationally), the approximate dimensions of your package, the approximate weight of your package, and its contents. Please have all of this information ready for us in order to give you an accurate estimate of the shipping cost. Please note, this quote is simply an estimation based off of the information you give us. The actual cost of shipping may be more or less than the quote we offer.
1. Do you offer travel notary services?
Unfortunately, we do NOT offer travel notary services.
2. How much do you charge for notary services?
We charge $15 per notarized signature. This means that if you need one signature notarized, the cost will be $15. Two notarized signatures will cost $30, three signatures will cost $45, and so on.
3. Do I need to make an appointment?
No, an appointment is not necessary.
4. What do I need to bring with me?
All you need to do is bring in a valid form of identification, the documents that will need notarization, and the person whose signature is being notarized! If you have any questions regarding if your form of ID is valid, give us a call. One of our notaries will inform you of the many different types of ID that can be used for notarization.
1. How much does getting fingerprinted cost?
In regards to Live Scan fingerprinting, the cost differs for each application type. Until we input your information into the Live Scan computer, we won't be able to give you an accurate price. For reference, most Live Scans cost between $50 and $100. This cost is broken down into two parts; the cost of sending your fingerprints to the DOJ, FBI, and/or any other agencies, as well as our rolling fee of $25.
In regards to Ink Card fingerprinting, we charge $30 for the first card and $15 for each additional card.
2. Do I need to schedule an appointment?
No, an appointment is not necessary.
3. What do I need to bring with me?
For Live Scans, all you need to bring is your completed Live Scan form, a valid form of identification, and yourself! Please note that we DO NOT have Live Scan forms. You will need to supply your own Live Scan form. Speak with your employer if you are unsure where to find one. Any rejections due to using the incorrect Live Scan form are not the fault of Postal Center Plus.
For Ink Cards, all you need is to bring in your Ink Card form, a valid form of identification, and yourself! We DO carry Ink Card forms, if you need one. However, do verify with your employer whether or not you need to utilize their version of this form. Any rejections due to using the incorrect form are not the fault of Postal Center Plus.
